Irregularly shaped, rust-colored or brown spots surrounded by yellow halos of varying sizes appear on the leaves. The center of these lesions often dries out and falls off, creating a shot-hole effect. As the disease progresses, individual lesions may merge, causing the leaves to wither, dry up, and eventually drop. In severe cases, this infection can lead to reduced fruit formation and a decline in overall yield.
