Anthracnose
Symptom
It is caused by a fungus and can infect all above-ground parts of the plant. On older leaves, the disease first appears as reddish-brown circular spots, some of which develop a central perforation. On stems, elongated streaks ranging from light brown to dark brown are often observed. On fruits, small water-soaked lesions initially appear, turning from green to brown. In advanced stages, pinkish spore masses ooze out from the center of the lesions.
