Symptom
They typically attack the tender parts of the plant. By sucking sap from the underside of the leaves, they cause the leaves to curl. Although the direct feeding damage is usually minor, these insects can act as vectors of disease. They may also spread from plant to plant via wind, and transmission can be further facilitated by the movement of ants.
