Shwe pyri is a pyridine-based insedcticide.
It belongs to the class of insecticides known as insect growth regulators (IGRs).
It has contact, stomach action with translaminar effect.
It is a type of insecticide that mimics the natural hormones in insects, disrupting their development and preventing larvae from maturing into adults.

As an insect growth regulator, it specifically disrupts the development of targeted pests without affecting beneficial insects.
it is effective against various pests, particularly in controlling populations of whitefly.
It controls all three stages of whitefly. It prevents hatching of eggs, inhibits metamorphosis of nymph to adult and causes sterility in adults.
It has low toxicity to the environment, long residual action, and minimizes the risk of resistance development.
It can be used in combination with other insecticides and pesticides to enhance overall pest control strategies.

It should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight.
