Red Spider Mite
Symptom
Although they feed on sap from the underside of the leaf, these insects do not use piercing-sucking mouthparts like whiteflies. Instead, they cut into the leaf tissue before extracting the sap. As a result, small white spots appear on the underside of the leaves, which gradually increase in number. Over time, affected leaves turn yellow and eventually dry out.
