Powdery mildew

Symptom

The disease usually first appears on the lower, shaded, and older leaves. Fungal colonies initially develop on the upper leaf surface. As the infection progresses, dense white fungal growth or powdery patches resembling flour can be observed on both upper and lower leaf surfaces. Under severe infection, leaves may mature prematurely, turn yellow and dry, and in extreme cases, the entire plant may die.
