Spider mite
Symptom
Eggs are typically laid on the undersides of leaves, tender shoots, fruits, flower buds, and floral structures. Infestation leads to fruit deformities, shortened internodes, leaf curling, wilting, and discoloration. Young leaves often exhibit curling, twisting, and a leathery texture. Leaves may turn coppery in color, sometimes showing mottled or mosaic-like patterns. In severe infestations, foliage may turn brown and wither. Silvery webbing or fine silk threads are often visible in the early morning sunlight. The pest is more prevalent during warm and humid seasons.
