Leaf Curl
Symptom
Leaves become distorted and curled towards the midrib, resulting in abnormal leaf shapes. Due to shortened internodes, the plants exhibit stunted growth, and the leaves become noticeably smaller in size. Premature flower drop occurs, and the flowers often lack stamens, leading to poor fruit set. As the disease is transmitted by whiteflies, it is essential to implement effective whitefly control measures to prevent the spread of the infection.
