White rust
Symptom
On the leaf surface, light green to yellow circular lesions appear. On the underside of the leaves, small patches of whitish fungal growth can be distinctly observed as white spots. Under severe infection, the fungal mycelial growth spreads and covers the entire leaf, reducing the rate of photosynthesis and thereby adversely affecting plant growth and yield.
