Slender burnished brass moth, Semilooper

Symptom

This pest can occur throughout the field, but infestations are most severe during the heading and flowering stages. Initially, the larvae feed on the leaves, scraping and skeletonizing them; as they grow, they consume entire leaves, resulting in irregular holes. They also bore into developing heads and flowers, causing direct damage and reducing both yield and market quality.
