Aphid
Symptom
Affected leaves turn yellow. Due to the feeding, the leaves become shriveled and develop a cupped appearance. When the pest attacks the stem, it causes wilting and drying of the plant. Feeding by aphid, along with the excretion of honeydew, promotes the growth of sooty mold on the plant surface, thereby reducing the photosynthetic rate. In addition, the pest acts as a vector, transmitting viral disease.
