Diamondback moth

Symptom

Infestations occur from the seedling stage through harvest, with peak damage observed during later crop growth. Young larvae scrape the green tissue from the leaf surface, while older larvae chew through the leaves, creating holes. In severe cases, they also bore into stems, petioles, developing heads, and flowers, causing significant yield loss and reducing crop quality.
