Faw Armyworm

Symptom

If there is a lot of soil moisture, they tend to fall. The young larvae scratch and feed the leaves. In severe infestations, they feed all the leaves. In sandy soils, they enter the soil and destroy pods. At night, they usually hide at the base of plant. It is common to make a pupa in the soil near the plant.
