Cucumber moth
Symptom
The larvae are green in color, with two distinct white longitudinal stripes running along the mid-dorsal line. They feed by scraping the green tissue of the leaves, causing damage. They chew and cut young leaves and tender shoots, and also feed on flower buds and inflorescences. Furthermore, they bore into and feed inside developing fruits, leading to serious damage.
