Shwe Paung Kyo Shin
Butachlor 60% EC
Product Feature
- It is systemic, selective herbicide belonging to the chloroacetamide group.
- It functions as both pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide, primarily inhibiting cell division and elongation, which affects germination of weed seeds and the growth of young shoots while also impairing photosynthesis.
- It is absorbed through both roots and shoots, it effectively inhibits early weed development by restricting shoot and root growth. When absorbed through foliage, it induces chlorosis, necrosis and ultimately weed death.
- It is particularly effective in controlling grasses, certain broadleaf weeds and sedges.
- It is applied either before or immediately after rice transplanting but prior to weed emergence or between (7-15) days after rice planting, once weeds have emerged and are actively growing.
