Product Feature

Shwe U Gyi is a selective systemic herbicide.
It rapidly absorbed by roots and/ or foliage and translocated to the meristems of weeds.
It control of grass, annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and sedges, pre- and post-emergence in wet-sown direct-seeded and transplanted rice crops.
Pyrazosulfuron-ethyl acts by inhibiting biosynthesis of the essential amino acids valine and isoleucine, hence stopping cell division and plant growth.
Quinclorac disrupts cell growth and division, leading to abnormal growth and death in susceptible weeds.

It provides broad-spectrum control of various weed types.
Using of mix of herbicides with different modes of action reduces the risk of weed populations developing resistance to a single herbicide.
The complementary action of these two herbicides provides more efficient and consistent weed control, particularly in paddy, where multiple types of weeds can affect crop yields.
It has residual soil activity, which provides long-lasting control of weeds, reducing the need for repeated applications.

If possible, use only clean water when mixing herbicide.
It commonly used in flooded rice fields. Poor water management can affect their efficacy, especially for quinclorac, which requires water for activation. Ensure the field is appropriately flooded or drained as recommended.
Overuse or incorrect mixing can result in crop damage or reduced efficacy. Follow recommended dosages and application procedures to avoid phytotoxicity or underperformance.
