Shwe Herbicide (3)
Bensulfuron-methyl 4% + Quinclorac 28% WP
Product Feature
- Shwe Herbicide (3) is systemic and selective herbicide.
- It absorbed by the foliage and translocated throughout the plant. Symptoms exhibited by broadleaf weeds include leaf and stem curling or twisting and necrosis.
- Susceptible grasses show signs of stunted growth, chlorosis (whitening) and slow reddening followed by necrosis and death.
- It is selective pre-emergence and post-emergence control of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and sedges, grasses in flooded or wetland rice, in direct seeding fields and transplanted fields.
- Bensulfuron-methyl is selective, systemic action being absorbed through foliage and roots. It inhibits plant amino acid synthesis-acetohydroxyacid synthase AHAS. This lead to a halt in cell division, ultimately stopping plant growth.
- Quinclorac acts as an auxin mimic, distrupts plant growth by mimicking natural plant growth hormones (auxins), which leads to abnormal cell elongation, uncontrolled growth and eventually plant death.
